Monschau, 11/06/2006 – With the new belt cleaning system, EcoBelt, Dürr Ecoclean has introduced a new cleaning concept to the market. Its modular design enables each user to configure a customized system according to their individual needs. The modular design also enables short delivery times: the system can be delivered within 8 weeks. An online configurator helps customers choose the system, calculate the price and determine the delivery date.

EcoBelt is the first of a new range of products from Dürr Ecoclean intended for a wide market. Its sophisticated cleaning concept and excellent price-performance ratio are decisive factors.

 

Modular design for easy customization and flexibility

The EcoBelt belt cleaning system has a modular design. The standard system consists of a cleaning module with tank, a drying module with blower, a spray tunnel, a transport system and a control system. It is available in four different sizes (T1, T2, T3, T4) depending upon the size of the workpieces and desired throughput. The compact design means that the system requires little floor space.

The standard EcoBelt system can be extended and even rebuilt according to needs. With more than 30 aggregates and modules to choose from, the system and cleaning process can be customized to meet workpiece requirements.

Reliable and user-friendly technology

Loading takes place either manually or automatically via inter-linking with existing transport systems. Workpieces can be transported either continuously or in cycles using chain conveyors or slat band conveyors. The speed of the conveyor can be adjusted continuously between 0.2 and 2 m/min.

All parts that come into contact with media are made of stainless steel or other non-corrosive materials.

Processes are programmed using a Siemens control system and there are plain text menus for sure operation. Fault diagnosis also occurs in plain text.

Generous maintenance openings ensure easy access to system components. Maintenance work can therefore be carried out quickly and efficiently which in turn increases the availability of the system.

Short delivery times

The modular design of the EcoBelt means short delivery times. Depending on the specification, the desired system with all individually ordered features is ready for dispatch in 8 weeks.

System configuration via Internet

Interested parties can configure their own systems online at www.beltwasher.de in the same way that many people will already know from the websites of car manufacturers. The menu first of all asks for the workpieces and requirements. The customer then selects different modules and receives information about the price of the chosen system configuration and the delivery date.

Modern, dynamic design

The EcoBelt has its own, unique design. The front and back of the system are optically striking. The front expresses state-of-the-art and dynamics (the cleaning tunnel is located here). The back (with the tank, exhaust air module and other aggregates) has a technical and functional appearance. Access to the aggregates as well as the operation and display instruments is gained through flaps and doors.

Creative marketing

EcoBelt is aimed at a broad market. This is reflected in the advertising campaign that is accompanying the product launch. The motif is a launderette, just like the ones you find on the high street. The launderette brings over the special advantages of the EcoBelt. It makes cleaning technology accessible to a large number of industries. Its simplicity and proximity to customers is impressive and it delivers the desired result with an excellent price-performance ratio.
