Ecoclean RCI - Roller Chain Integrated Conveyor

Ecoclean's RCI Roller Chain Integrated Conveyor is a versatile conveyor solution built for high volume throughput with maximum accumulation per lane. There are no gaps along its surface, so parts can fully accumulate along the top of the conveyor. Because there are no design restrictions limiting part positioning, RCI is an ideal choice for integrating with external automation devices, such as gantries, robots, or shuttles.

The RCI includes several design improvements not found on conventional chain conveyors which result in lower maintenance and improved operation. Steel roller chain tension is regulated by a self-adjusting chain tensioning unit that operates via gas spring. The chain is almost completely covered and protected by the aluminum extrusion support rails. This improves performance by reducing chain contamination, and it improves safety by eliminating many of the finger traps or pinch points found on conventional chain conveyors. The RCI's drive components are also fully enclosed for safety.

Standard RCI can accommodate most machining and assembly environments. RCI is also available with several optional features. Plastic rollers can be used instead of steel. An automatic lubrication system can be supplied for dry environments.
