MPC cleaners – advantages of aqueous and solvent-based cleaning

MPC cleaners have proven themselves in electronic manufacturing and also offer advantages for metal cleaning. MPC stands for Micro Phase Cleaning and describes a patented process for surfactant-free and emulsifier-free cleaning methods.

MPC cleaners are a mixture of water and highly active cleaning substances. They combine the advantages of both aqueous media and solvents. With heat input and/or agitation a so-called MPC emulsion forms, which is capable of cleaning off both cooling lubricants and oils in a single process. Surface tension values of > 50 mN/m can be reached here. The emulsion can easily be prepared with minimal loss using standard methods (micofiltration/distillation) and thereby offers an extremely long usable chamber life and a significant reduction in operating costs
