EcoMat 600
The cleaning system
The treatment and supply modules integrate cleanly with the storage and retrieval cell by simply hooking in on the side. The convenient design allows any number of modules to be used in any position. The number of treatment modules is determined by the system's cycle time. The basic model of the Ecomat 600 consists of one treatment module that provides injection flood washing, spray cleaning, blow-off and vacuum drying in sequence. Up to three treatment modules can be integrated in each cell to achieve cycle times of 1.5 minutes per treatment module. The connecting pipes between the treatment modules and the supply module run along the outer wall of the cell. The supply module is made up of a stable base frame with an integrated base pan. Containers and units are located inside a sound-insulated cubicle. The central control panel is attached directly to the side frame or rear panel of the cell, making the Ecomat 600 a completely self-contained and compact system.
The FlexCell storage and organization system
Wire baskets, supplied with the Ecomat 600, are stacked onto a wheeled transport cart and docked on a mounting plate in one of the FlexCell's three load/unload chambers. The Ecomat 600 automatically de-stacks the part baskets, cleans the parts, then cleans the transport cart and mounting plate before re-stacking part baskets onto a cleaned transport cart to exit the machine. The FlexCell's intelligent production management system handles the internal logistics of the part baskets ensuring transparent process organization. An integrated telescopic lift system transports the part baskets within the FlexCell. The lift system moves along three axes and transports the part baskets to the required position - either a buffer storage location or a cleaning module. The transport carts are retrieved and transferred by the same lift system and cleaned in the same manner as the part baskets.
